Membership

Plants sustain all life on Earth — and thousands of species are disappearing faster than we can protect them. Oya exists to change that. By becoming a member, you become part of an international community taking action for plant conservation.

Choose the membership that fits you. Your annual fee funds Oya's conservation work: botanical portraits of threatened species, school conservation competitions in our country projects, and research support for botanical gardens in developing countries.

Why Join OYA?

Not sure which tier is right for you? Active membership is for those who want a say in what Oya does next — nominate a species, vote at the Annual General Assembly. Associate membership is for supporters who want to stay close to the work without the commitments.

Both memberships are renewed annually. You can upgrade from Associate to Active at any time.

Oya is a Swiss‑registered non‑profit association dedicated to global plant conservation through education, communication, and research. Your membership fee goes directly towards protecting threatened plant species around the world.

As a member, you are not just a donor — you are a stakeholder in Oya's future.
